Located in the heart of Houston’s Montrose neighborhood, this project for Aesop seeks to establish a dialoque between new and existing. Furniture, millwork, and displays for projects touch the interior lightly. Sheets of sheer fabric provide a screen that mitigate views from sidewalk at the street corner outside.
CONTENT served as architect of record for the project, working in collaboration with Alaine Carle Architecte in Montreal to translate their design intentions and install elements within the historic building in Montrose. CONTENT oversaw the permitting and construction thorughout the process. This included the coordination of details that address how new elements within the space can be installed and attached in a clean seamless manner.
