Franco Denari
Princeton Tiger...

Born in Germany and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Franco earned his Bachelor of Architecture with honors from the University of Houston. His interests range from systems integration, drawing and representation, to time and ritual. His thesis project “The Coin, The Crack, and The Cistern” explored such themes and was recognized with the “Best Project of the Year” award. During his studies, Franco’s work was exhibited in the Aedes Gallery in Berlin, and he was awarded scholarships by the Texas Architectural Foundation, Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society, and Hines, which granted him the opportunity to work for EMBT Architects in Barcelona.

As a student at UH, Franco worked as a technician at the school’s fabrication lab, where he developed an interest in making objects with his own hands with materials like wood and resin. Franco likes to spend his time learning about these materials, as well as taking pictures, watching movies and listening to music. He also likes to play tennis and to complain about how many dogs he has.
